Lagarde Neighbourhood Centre II Bamberg

A watertight excavation pit with a back-anchored sheet pile box and 641 permanent micropiles was built on the Lagarde Campus in Bamberg for the construction of a dementia centre and Medical Valley Centre. This ensured the buoyancy safety of the building.

Renovation of Enzisweiler railway station

During the renovation of the Enzisweiler railway station, 368 micropiles were used for the deep foundations of the platforms instead of bored piles, minimising the environmental impact and reducing construction time. The line crossing under the track was built using the jacking method with a cofferdam construction consisting of sheet piling and tie rods.

Bad Lauchstädt energy park

Temporary construction pit stabilisation measures with 1490 m² of sheet piling and 45 pre-stressed grouted piles were implemented for the construction of a new fire water tank and rainwater retention basin at the Bad Lauchstädt energy park. The shoring was carried out as a back-anchored, closed and sealed sheet pile box.

New composite coupler at Schwandorf substation

New foundations for lightning protection masts, overhead conductors and single-column disconnectors were laid with 156 micropiles over a total length of 1092 metres for the construction of a new composite coupler at the Schwandorf substation. A permanent pile foundation was required due to the geological conditions.
